There’s an extra day of luxury and adventure in store for qualifiers on the 2009 Autumn conference event.

Kleeneze’s 2009 Autumn Destination Event will be held in Southern Cyprus, near the historic seaside town of Limassol.

Balfour Beatty Top to Bottom

An intrepid team of cyclists from Balfour Beatty Plant & Fleet Services have cycled from John O’Groats to Land’s End. That’s about a hundred miles every day for ten days!

So far over £20,000 has been raised through a combination of online giving, donations by family, friends and colleagues, and the total is set to increase as further fundraising events take place at the BBPFS offices in Derby.

The money will be split between Balfour Beatty’s Building Better Futures trust, in partnership with The Prince’s Trust and Action for Children, and Brake, the road safety charity.

Well done to all those involved!

Celebrating 10 Years

Hello there, Cathy here, Director of iceni. It’s now 10 years since I first worked with Kleeneze, so I thought I would write a little blog to celebrate.

The first project I produced was a step by step guide to Retailing, and then a conference event in Arizona, with over 100 delegates, 2 days of training from some of the direct selling industry’s brightest stars, and a highlights video of the whole event. 

Since Arizona, the iceni team have produced events in 20 countries; filmed on boats, planes, trains and helicopters; and received recognition from the New York Film and Video Festival, the IVCA and the CiB.

Football Fixtures

The fixtures have now been announced for the forthcoming football season. The various promotion and relegation battles of last season have brought about some tasty clashes this coming season, some of which the iceni team will have a close eye on.

Wolves’ promotion back to the Premiership sees them hosting Arsenal on 7th November.

Newcastle will visit Forest’s City Ground, for the first time in a league game in over 10 years, on October 17th.

Burton Albion, who have joined the football league for the first time in their history, will face Notts County (who look set to join football’s rich list) on 5th September.

Space Film takes off with a BANG!

Last week Year 5 Pupils at Trinity CofE Primary School took on an ambitious and exciting task to film an action space adventure set on planets across the universe!

This 5 day shoot really got the young people’s creativity and imagination flowing as they had to film every scene in front of a green screen.
