Sugarbabe outfit!

And all in the name of a shoot.

We had great fun filming a new training video. We were testing how many bags of sugar a pane of glass could support before it breaks. 

I volunteered to be the sugar helper. I think I have become particularly fond of the outfit!

Black Country Challenge Student Awards

Rebecca, Head of Educational Media at iceni, handed out the New Media Award at the Black Country Challenge Student Awards 2008.

Teachers and Pupils from across the region attended the glitzy ceremony at the Public building in West Bromwich, to hear who had won one of five ‘money can’t buy’ prizes. 

The prizes included working with the Birmingham Conservatoire, visiting the Express and Star, seeing a winning script performed by actors from the Royal Shakespeare Company and spending the day at the National Physical Laboratory, sponsored by SERCO. iceni’s New Media Award offered the winners Chris Price and Stephen Swan, pupils at Shelfield Sports and Community College in Walsall, a chance to make their own short film.

Black Country Challenge Chief Adviser, Sir Geoff Hampton praised the student’s hard work and reiterated the pride and inspiration that these students bring to the region.
