It’s gold for iceni at the North of England’s top internal communications awards, the CiBs.
We had an absolutely brilliant evening all suited and booted at Magna in Sheffield. And in spite of the wine, it’s not that bad a picture - I usually look like a derby winner, all teeth and no top lip - it’s become a bit of a standing joke among the team.
Anyway, it’s deserved recognition for Cathy’s ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ programme for Kleeneze - now officially the best internal communications video of 2008.
Opened in 1925, the Hall of Memory stands as a memorial to the men and women of Birmingham who gave their lives in the First World War, Second World War and in active service since 1945. Browse the books, view high resolution images and download and print individual pages.
First TransPennine Express have been running services between Manchester and Glasgow or Edinburgh since the start of 2008.
I was at the launch back in February and filmed a little epk style news release video of the event. If you visit www.go-this-way.co.uk you can download podcasts from the event and book tickets for as little as £10 each way.
iceni designed and produced the website by the way.
And don’t the girls look lovely in the post below.
This photo was taken at the recent Royal Television Society Midlands awards where iceni was nominated for best corporate.
It was a star studded night and we spent most of it celebrity spotting! We saw: Ashley Blake, Rosemary Connelly, John Craven, Sarah Faulkland, Big Brother’s Alison Hammond, Des Coleman, (plus a few others we didn’t recognise!)
About the biggest applause of the night was for John Craven – much to the confusion of the younger members of the audience. But for those of us who grew up watching BBC’s John Craven’s Newsround, it was a wonderful moment to show our appreciation. Go on John!
