iceni, a Midlands business video production and digital design agency, is offsetting greenhouse gas emissions from every mile of road, rail and air travel on every project in 2007. This offsetting is offered at absolutely no extra cost to clients.
Through an approved offsetting scheme, carbon emissions from essential travel are ‘balanced’ by payments to companies dedicated to reducing global warming. As well as cutting greenhouse gases, the projects help to improve people’s standards of living and protect wildlife habitats.
iceni’s 2006 offsetting contributions have gone towards projects in India and Uganda that promote renewable energy, energy efficiency and rainforest restoration.
Andi Jepson, Director of iceni said, “It’s not always practical to transport production crew and kit to locations using public transport and during the course of a year we have to fly a lot of miles to produce and film programmes, conferences and events.
