Visitors to the studio over the past few weeks have been greeted by screams.
No, its not the pictures from Andi’s toga shoot, it’s a zombie movie produced with the children from George Salter Collegiate Academy, as part of their creative learning.
WARNING **** There’s some strong language in the clip and scenes of mild horror. ****
These kind words are from the Head of Service at Sheffield City Council.
“The brief for our film was ambitious, involving young people, a range of locations and a short timescale! I was anxious (this was my first experience of working with a film crew) about how things would go. I needn’t have worried!

HomeServe is a Midlands based FTSE 250 company with offices across the UK, France, Spain and the USA.
We recently completed a video project which was delivered for a city analysts and investors day.
Kim went over to the USA, where we spent 2 days filming the busy and bustling New York City and the beautiful and picturesque city of Miami. Whilst Kim was in the US, Andi was over in France and Spain where we filmed at the HomeServe offices in Lyon and Madrid.

We filmed, edited and delivered the programme on DVD, which features beautifully shot interviews with key employees from the US and Europe.

With Halloween approaching, the launch of the new ‘Zombies’ film was met with a great deal of excitement at The Public in West Bromwich. The short film was produced by iceni and George Salter Collegiate Academy with Creative Partnerships.
The audience were on the edge of their seats (and jumping out of their skin) as the ghastly tale unfolded before their eyes.
The iceni team were there to see the film unleashed.
The film went down a storm as students demanded to see each and every last bit of the DVD (out-takes and all). A great event and a fantastic venue.
The venue? Birmingham’s world famous Symphony Hall, with its world class acoustics and stunning auditorium. it’s probably the UK’s finest concert hall if not one of the best in the world.
Reaction to the film was excellent, watch this space for clips and comments. Remember, if you are looking for ways to bring filmmaking into a creative curriculum, you should look at WRAP a DVD resource produced for teachers and educationalists.
Cathay Pacific, Travel 2 and Hong Kong Tourism Board present, Hong Kong Revealed.
In a strange twist, this innovative sales incentive meant that spending time with the iceni team was the reward. Or maybe it was the luxury trip to one of the world’s top destinations, to stay in one of the world’s top hotels and star in a film produced by iceni. Whichever way you look at it, the result is a great programme, a competition website, and a campaign that will get talked about for a long time to come.

Andi and the crew are currently out filming in Hong Kong with Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong Tourism Board and Travel 2.
Reports of exploring the spiritual side of Hong Kong, including Tai Chi on the waterfront and monks in the mountains, all sound very glamorous. This, coupled with the long hours of hard work, and the stunning scenery should make for a great film.
